1. Key Features
The JTC-1367 transmission and gearbox socket features a specialized tamperproof design with a center pin for securely servicing oil release bolts on transmissions and gearboxes.
Designed with a 1/2" square drive, M16H profile, and an optimal total length of 60mm for excellent clearance in recessed undercarriage areas.
Manufactured from high-grade alloy steel offering exceptional strength and resistance to wear under high-torque applications.
2. Practical Applications
This tool is essential for professional automotive repair workshops, specifically tailored for servicing and changing transmission and gearbox oil on Audi A3, A4, A6, VW Golf IV, and LT models.
3. How to Use
Attach the JTC-1367 socket onto a compatible 1/2-inch drive ratchet or torque wrench.
Engage the M16H tamperproof profile securely onto the oil release bolt located on the vehicle's transmission or gearbox housing.
Apply turning force counterclockwise to loosen and remove the transmission oil drain plug safely.
4. Device Maintenance
After finishing work, thoroughly clean all gear oil and residue from the socket using a clean soft cloth.
Neatly store the tool in a toolbox and keep it in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent rust and ensure long-lasting mechanical durability.
