3. How to Use

Step 1: Place a few drops of the fluid to be tested on the measuring prism.

Step 2: Close the prism cover and ensure the fluid spreads evenly.

Step 3: Point the tester toward a natural light source.

Step 4: Observe the scale through the eyepiece of the tester.

Step 5: Read the value at the light-dark boundary on the scale.

Step 6: Compare the result with manufacturer specifications.

Step 7: Clean the prism and store the tester in the case after completion.

 

4. Device Maintenance

Clean measuring prism with soft damp cloth after each use. Do not immerse device in strong solvents or concentrated acid. Check prism periodically for cracks or scratches. Calibrate device periodically to ensure accuracy. Store in dry place, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature. Do not use device outside allowed measurement range. Store in carrying case when not in use.
