3. How to Use

Step 1: Check the feeler gauge set and blades are complete.

Step 2: Identify the valve or rocker position to be adjusted.

Step 3: Select the feeler blade with size suitable for manufacturer specifications.

Step 4: Insert the feeler blade into the gap between valve and rocker.

Step 5: Adjust the clearance until the feeler blade fits exactly.

Step 6: Check the clearance meets manufacturer specifications.

Step 7: Clean the feeler gauge set and store in the case after completing the work.

 

4. Device Maintenance

Clean feeler gauge set with soft damp cloth after each use. Do not immerse tool in water or strong solvents. Apply light oil to the feeler blade joint periodically for smooth operation. Check feeler blades periodically for wear or bending. Check feeler gauge body periodically for cracks or deformation. Store in dry place, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature. Do not use tool outside designed purpose. Store in carrying case when not in use.
