3. How to Use

Step 1: Check the gauge set and 9 blades are complete.

Step 2: Identify the brake lining position to be measured on the truck.

Step 3: Select the blade suitable for the brake lining thickness.

Step 4: Insert the blade into the gap between brake lining and brake drum.

Step 5: Check the blade fits exactly with the brake lining thickness.

Step 6: Read the measurement result on the blade from 6 to 22 mm.

Step 7: Clean the gauge and store in the case after completing the work.

 

4. Device Maintenance

Clean gauge with soft damp cloth after each use. Do not immerse gauge in water or strong solvents. Apply light oil to the blade joint periodically for smooth operation. Check blades periodically for wear or bending. Check gauge body periodically for cracks or deformation. Store in dry place, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature. Do not use gauge outside designed purpose. Store in carrying case when not in use.
