The JTC-6986 Brake Pedal Release Tool is specially designed to lever the brake pedal away from the brake booster on compatible BMW vehicles.
The tool allows technicians to safely and efficiently disconnect the brake pedal during brake booster replacement or repair, minimizing the risk of damage to surrounding components.

3. Instructions for Use
Remove any trim panels to access the brake pedal assembly.
Position the JTC-6986 between the brake pedal and brake booster.
Carefully lever the brake pedal away from the booster following the manufacturer's service procedure.
Perform the required repair or replacement.
Reassemble the system and verify proper brake operation.
4. Maintenance
Clean after every use.
Inspect the working surfaces regularly.
Do not overload or misuse the tool.
Apply anti-rust oil when necessary.
Store in a clean and dry toolbox.
