The JTC-6640 Fuel Tank Lid Remover for VAG is a professional service tool specially designed for removing and installing the fuel tank locking ring on VAG vehicles. It allows technicians to remove the locking ring quickly and safely without damaging the locking mechanism during maintenance or repair.
Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, the JTC-6640 offers excellent durability and a secure fit for servicing both petrol and diesel fuel systems on Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda and SEAT vehicles.
The tool is suitable for professional fuel tank service and is equivalent to VAG OEM Tool T40283.

3. Instructions for Use
Remove the access cover above the fuel tank module if required.
Position the JTC-6640 onto the locking ring tabs.
Rotate the tool using the appropriate drive tool.
Tighten the locking ring according to the manufacturer's torque specification after service.
Verify proper sealing before returning the vehicle to operation.
4. Maintenance
Clean the tool after every use.
Apply anti-rust oil regularly.
Do not use the tool for unintended applications.
Inspect contact surfaces before operation.
Store in a clean and dry environment.
