3. How to Use

Step 1: Check the socket and components are complete.

Step 2: Identify the fifth wheel bolt position to be removed or installed.

Step 3: Install the 3/4" x 32 EPL socket onto the drive.

Step 4: Place the socket onto the fifth wheel mounting bolt.

Step 5: Connect with a torque wrench or impact wrench if needed.

Step 6: Turn the socket to remove or install the bolt.

Step 7: Clean the socket and store in the case after completing the work.

 

4. Device Maintenance

Clean socket with soft damp cloth after each use. Do not immerse socket in water or strong solvents. Apply oil to the socket surface periodically for rust prevention. Check 32 EPL teeth periodically for wear or cracks. Check 3/4" drive periodically to ensure firm fit. Store in dry place, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature. Do not use socket outside allowed load capacity. Store in carrying case when not in use.
