1. Key Features
The JTC-4905 front crossmember alignment testing mandrel set for VAG consists of 4 precision-engineered alignment pins. It enables technicians to quickly and accurately check whether the 4 mounting holes on the subframe are perfectly aligned before loosening the subframe structure.
2. Practical Applications
This tool set is essential for professional automotive repair workshops and is universally applicable to all Volkswagen and Audi models. Utilizing these alignment mandrels ensures structural accuracy during subframe reassembly, helping maintain proper wheel geometry and eliminating the need for unnecessary wheel alignments.
3. How to Use
Before loosening the subframe, insert the 4 mandrels from the JTC-4905 set into the corresponding alignment holes on the vehicle. If the mandrels slide in smoothly and align correctly, the subframe is positioned properly; otherwise, a complete wheel alignment must be performed after the subframe is reinstalled.
4. Device Maintenance
After finishing work, thoroughly clean all grease, oil, and dirt from the surface of the mandrels using a soft cloth. Neatly organize all 4 pieces into their dedicated protective case and store them in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent rust and maintain mechanical durability.
