3. How to Use

Attach the alligator clip to a reliable ground source (such as the negative battery terminal or a clean metal chassis point). Probe the electrical circuit, wire, or fuse with the tester's sharp metal tip. Observe the crystal-clear handle: a BLUE light indicates a voltage under 36V (typical 12V/24V systems), while a RED light indicates a voltage over 36V (such as 48V Hybrid systems). If the LEDs do not light up, the circuit is dead or there is a broken electrical connection.

 

4. Device Maintenance

Wipe the probe tip and the clear plastic handle with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dirt and grease. Prevent the sharp metal tip from dropping or hitting hard surfaces to avoid bending or damage. Store the tester in a dry, cool toolbox, keeping it away from extreme heat or corrosive chemicals that could cloud the clear handle. Regularly inspect the grounding wire and alligator clip for wear or rust to maintain accurate and safe voltage detection.
