The JTC-4618 Camshaft Alignment Tool is specially designed for accurate engine timing adjustment during servicing of BMW M47 and M57 diesel engines.
The tool assists in positioning and aligning the valve timing components, ensuring accurate synchronization between the camshaft and crankshaft during timing chain replacement, cylinder head service and engine overhaul.

3. Instructions for Use
Set the engine to TDC according to the BMW service procedure.
Install the JTC-4618 alignment tools correctly.
Align the engine timing components.
Perform the timing chain replacement or engine repair.
Remove the tools and verify engine timing before starting the engine.
4. Maintenance
Clean the tool after every use.
Apply anti-rust oil before storage.
Inspect locating pins and contact surfaces regularly.
Store in a dry carrying case.
