1. Key Features
The JTC-4378 Camshaft Alignment Tool is specially designed to accurately position the camshaft at Top Dead Center (TDC) during engine timing service on BMW S63 engines.

3. Instructions for Use
Rotate the engine to the Top Dead Center (TDC) position according to the BMW service manual.
Install the JTC-4378 locating tools onto the specified engine positions.
Inspect and adjust the timing chain tensioner as required.
Perform timing chain replacement or engine timing service.
Remove the tools and verify engine timing before starting the engine.
4. Maintenance
Clean the tool thoroughly after each use.
Apply a light coat of anti-rust oil before storage.
Inspect the locating pins and working surfaces regularly for wear or deformation.
Store the tool in its carrying case in a dry environment.
Use only on the specified engine models.
