3. Instructions for Use
Rotate the engine to the Top Dead Center (TDC) position according to the BMW service manual.
Install the locking pin and camshaft alignment holder.
Use the crankshaft wrench, 27 mm socket and angle indicator to position the crankshaft correctly.
Install the chain tensioner to secure the timing chain.
Perform engine timing adjustment or timing chain replacement.
Remove all tools and verify engine timing before starting the engine.
4. Maintenance
Clean the tool thoroughly after each use.
Apply anti-rust oil before storage.
Inspect the locking pin, camshaft holder and wrench regularly for wear or damage.
Store the kit in its carrying case in a dry environment.
Use only on BMW N62 and N73 engines.
