1. Key Features
The JTC-1842 Guide Rail Pin Puller is specially designed for removing guide rail pins from BMW cylinder heads quickly, safely and efficiently.
Unlike conventional short slide hammers, the JTC-1842 is capable of extracting even severely seized or corroded guide rail pins without damaging the cylinder head.
The puller incorporates a thrust bearing, reducing friction during operation and providing smoother pulling action with higher extraction force and less operator effort.
Manufactured from high-strength alloy steel, the tool offers excellent durability, wear resistance and long service life for professional workshop use.

3. Instructions for Use
Attach the JTC-1842 securely to the guide rail pin.
Position the puller correctly.
Tighten the forcing screw to apply a smooth pulling force through the thrust bearing.
Continue tightening until the pin is completely removed.
Inspect the mounting hole before installing the replacement pin.
4. Maintenance
Clean the tool after each use.
Lubricate the forcing screw and thrust bearing regularly.
Inspect the threads and contact surfaces before use.
Do not overload or strike the tool with a hammer.
