3. How to Use

Step 1: Remove the spark plug from the engine using a dedicated tool.

Step 2: Clean the spark plug to remove carbon deposits and contaminants.

Step 3: Select the gauge blade with suitable size for the gap to be checked.

Step 4: Insert the gauge blade into the gap between the two spark plug electrodes.

 

Step 5: Check the tension as the gauge blade passes through the gap.

Step 6: Adjust the gap if needed using a dedicated tool.

Step 7: Clean the tool and store in the case after completing the work.

 

4. Device Maintenance

Clean tool with soft damp cloth after each use. Do not immerse tool in water or strong solvents. Check gauge blades periodically for wear or bending. Apply light oil to the joint if present for smooth operation. Store in dry place, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature. Do not use tool to measure overly hard materials. Store in carrying case when not in use.
