This tool is designed to hold the crankshaft pulley stationary while loosening or tightening the centre screw. It can remove pulley safely and won't damage pulley's shockproof function.

3. Instructions for Use
Access the crankshaft pulley according to the BMW service procedure.
Install the JTC-1417 holding tool onto the pulley.
Hold the pulley securely in position.
Remove or tighten the center bolt using the appropriate tools.
Remove the holding tool and inspect the pulley after service.
4. Maintenance
Clean after each use.
Apply anti-rust oil periodically.
Inspect the contact surfaces before use.
Do not use the tool as a pry bar.
Store in a clean and dry toolbox.
