The JTC-6828 Audi brake caliper socket is specially engineered for removing and installing brake calipers.
Features a 1/2” DR drive with a 14mm x 7PT spline configuration and an overall length of 50mm(L).
Constructed from high-grade alloy steel offering exceptional hardness and strength to withstand high torque without rounding off caliper bolts.
2. Practical Applications
This tool is essential for professional automotive repair workshops, specifically tailored for servicing the brake systems of luxury Audi models including Audi A5, A6L, Q5, and Q7 from 2017 onwards.
3. How to Use
Attach the JTC-6828 socket onto a compatible 1/2-inch drive ratchet or torque wrench.
Engage the 14mm x 7PT profile securely onto the brake caliper bolt on the vehicle.
Apply turning force counterclockwise to loosen or clockwise to tighten the caliper bolt smoothly and safely.
4. Device Maintenance
After finishing work, thoroughly clean all oil, grease, brake dust, and debris from the socket using a soft cloth.
Neatly store the tool in a toolbox or keep it in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent rust and ensure long-lasting mechanical durability.
